Cave For Sale is a multi-media sculpted installation. The current installation was crafted over six months from conception to completion. The installation itself brings together the past, present, and future of the realm of cinema. This was achieved by pulling together numerous design elements while being driven by the sole purpose of exploring and discovering new forms of cinema that not only take into account the screen but the theater environment itself.

A mass of clay is shaped and transformed through the methods of Kabbalah and Stop-Motion animation in order to deconstruct animation and creationism; birthing the savior monster known as the Golem.

Exhibited at the Shanghai Biennale 2023, Max assisted in the design process by drafting out a variety of concept sketches for the installation structure, created 7 unique and dynamic animations, and assisted in the architecture and constructions of the installation itself. Worked closely with art group Polyphemus Farofa.

New Media Artist and Designer living in New York City.
With a practice in Interactive Media and Design, his work spans Virtual Graphics, Sound-Vision Installations, Film, and Animation. He envisions entire scenarios, where the work can blend technology and environment for the aid of narratives exploring memory and reconstruction. This holistic approach has lent to a body of work that is ephemeral yet rich in the digitally fantastic and historically haunted.
